The Meaning of Villager
We believe in the magic of community. That’s why we partner with women artists from across Canada to create our puzzles. Each design features beautiful, original artwork — and every artist earns royalties from every puzzle sold. So when you choose Villager, you’re not just supporting a Canadian small business, you’re helping Canadian women artists do what they love and make a living from it. You’re part of this village now — where women lift each other up. Welcome!

Mission
At Villager, we see hobbies as a form of self-care and we are on a mission to help you rediscover downtime. Remember when you used to play? Maybe it's time to try again. Put on your favourite playlist, grab a cup of tea and maybe a friend and let’s do a puzzle.
Meet The Founder
A puzzle company created by a self-professed puzzle snob
I discovered my love for puzzles somewhat by accident. As a working mom with three kids, I was looking for something quiet to do in the evenings after they went to bed. Puzzling became my form of meditation — a way to unwind and recharge at the end of the day.
I’ll admit it: I’m a bit of a puzzle snob. I love puzzles, but I couldn’t find ones that matched my style or standards. I wanted art that was beautiful, colourful, and fun — something I’d actually want to hang on my wall. I wanted pieces that fit together perfectly, without glare under the lights, and packaging that looked as lovely as home décor (because it often is).
Now, I’m building Villager Puzzles from my home in Comox, BC to create exactly that — and I’m sharing the journey openly along the way. Want to follow along?
Can a puzzle be self-care? Absolutely!
You may not have considered a puzzle as a tool in your self care practice but puzzles have health benefits especially for your mental health…
